Great pan for making maple syrup. All tig welded construction from 304 stainless steel--guaranteed. Comes with a 3/4" npt threaded outlet. Our seams and fittings are welded in an oxygen free environment to prevent contamination and inclusions. Dark welds not only look bad but can create problems within the weld itself especially during thermal cycling.
