The instructions
1.clean the smooth surface that you wish to attach the sharpener to. Ideal surfaces indude granite, glass, smooth tile or formica.
2. Hold sharpener down with one hand and press down on the lever securing the suction pad on surface.
3. Place knife on sharpener slot and slowly draw back the knife.
4. Continue this procedure 3-4 times.Please note only draw the knife back do not push the knife forward
5. Once you have finished sharpening the knife, lift lever and store sharpener- away.The suction may still be retained. It is recommended that the suction disappear after several movements and take it off gently to avoid damage.
