Vintage, authentic 1960's "Corning Ware" Blue Cornflower serving set of 8. All pieces are a family heirloom purchased by my late Grandmother who resided in Saddle River, NJ. This set was passed down to my father. Most pieces are circa 1960's due to the stamping on the back and markings on the glass lids. However, we believe 1 piece is possibly early 1970's. Beautiful pieces crafted for longevity, durability and even
 practicality.

The Blue Cornflower motif is iconic. The original, authentic early pieces are now selling for very high prices. On Ebay, if you do a search for corning ware blue cornflower and select the option "price + shipping highest first", you will see a piece can be listed from $5,000-$20,000.

All 8 pieces are in very good vintage condition. Tiny marks or hairline scratches may be seen here and there. However, I have to bring my nose up close to see anything. They are in pretty good condition for their age. They can be used in conventional, convection, toaster, microwave ovens, on a range top, under a broiler, in the refrigerator, freezer and in the dishwasher.

Most of the pieces have the standard dark blue/ black stamp on the back. However, 4 have the white stamp on back, which blends into background but, can be seen in bright light or clearly under a loop magnifier.

Measurements were taken from inside edge to edge. That is the correct way to take Corning Ware measurements. Many people take the measurements from the outer edge to edge. In the antique business, the dealers and auction houses take the measurements from the interior.
