For sale is a very unusual pair of scissors. These are J.A. Henckels Zwilling Germany scissors. I believe they are gold plated steel. These were an employee gift to a man from Waco, TX who was heavily involved in the oil industry. The scissors are 9" long from handle to blade tip. As you can see from the photos, they have a decent amount of plate wear to the blade edges from being opened and closed, and used over the years. They come with a walnut case with fitted velvet interior. The box top has the owners name and 1980 engraved on the top on a small plate. The top of the scissors are also engraved with the date and owner's name. Henckels celebrated their 250th anniversary in 81' and put out a number of special scissors for the occasion, so I wonder if this may be one of those products. It's very unusual and I cannot find another set like it. It would be a great addition to any collection!
