Originally from the Springfield, Missouri, area, Marian's work has been influenced by a strong personal drive, an art and art history -based education, experience as an educator and personal experiences residing in other states. She works in printmaking, pastel, graphite, watercolor and a variety of other media. Her B.A. from Drury University is in studio art and art history, with an M.E. in art education.
