Being offered on this auction is a
gorgeous vase made by Rosenthal China,
Selb, Bavaria,
Germany.
It
is Art Nouveau design. Vase has gorgeous urn shape with very short
neck. It is
decorated from its front with pictures of majestic roses in pinkish
tones
with green leafs and stem. Background of this vase is multicolored. It
is
dark green on top in the front of vase. The light pink stoke covers the
top
from another side and it is going across side to finish at the front.
Color
is light green to even very light blue between two main strokes. Vase
is fully glazed. Looks splendid. Vase is marked on the backside
with standard Crown with two swords ‘RC Bavaria’ mark in green. This
mark
identifies original production of c. 1891 - 1906. Other marking is production artist initial 'N' (or 'Z'
depending how you look at it). We do not know the name of the artist who designed this piece.
Vase measures about 2 3/4" in
diameter and
stands 6 1/4” tall. Condition is immaculate with no cracks or chips found.
