Farmers' Almanac is an annual American periodical that has been in continuous publication since 1818. Published by Geiger of Lewiston, Maine, the Farmers' Almanac provides long-range weather predictions for both the U.S. and Canada. 

The Farmer's Almanac is different from The Old Farmer's Almanac. The “Farmer's Almanac” makes their forecasts two years in advance, and relies on “sunspot activity, tidal action, the position of the planet, and many other factors.” Similarly, the “Old Farmer's Almanac” compares solar patterns and past weather patterns to derive future trends/
