A vintage (1960s) Zenith Glass Vacuum Tube #6FM7. This is a 12 pin dissimilar twin triode.

NSN/FSN = 596001057351.

This tube was salvaged from a 1960s Era television that was (finally!) being scrapped by a neighbor. 

We do know that, like most manufacturers of electronics, Zenith started phasing tubes out of their products in the early 1960s in favor of solid state electronics. The last radio Zenith made with tubes was produced in 1969, so we are assuming their last tube TV was made sometime around that time, too. If you have any better information on this item, please let us know and we'll update this post as appropriate.  

Condition is Very Good, Used. THIS ITEM HAS NOT BEEN TESTED, SO WE CANNOT GAURANTEE THAT IT IS STILL OPERATIONAL. We do not have the capability to test tubes, so we cannot guarantee this still works. However, we did do a pretty thorough visual inspection and from what we can see, there doesn't appear to be any broken connections or burned parts inside the tube. The glass is unbroken, with no scratches or other issues. All the connector pins are intact and unbent.
