Description
The Imperial Japanese Navy's fighter plane "SHI-DEN-KAI" boasted one of the best performance in World War II. 
This "SHI-DEN-KAI Instruction Manual" is a full-page reprint of the more than 464-page instruction manual, including explanatory drawings, compiled by the Imperial Navy for the pilots and mechanics of the aircraft at that time.
Also included is the 96-page "Shiden Kai Operation Reference Book" as a second booklet, which was intended as an instructional manual for pilots to fully use the revolutionary automatic air battle flaps mounted on the Shiden Kai.
Also included is a third booklet, a 56-page "Commentary Book" in which two experts examine these rare documents. 
The booklet also mentions the development and structure of the seaplane fighter "Gale Wind", which was the base of the SHI-DEN and SHI-DEN-KAI.
This gorgeous book contains the above three historically very rare booklets in a hard case.

About the Author

Atsushi Fujimori (Author, photographer, supervisor)
Born in Nagano Prefecture in 1954. 
Studied aerospace engineering at Nihon University under Dr. Jiro Horikoshi, the chief designer of the Zero fighter plane.
After working as editor-in-chief of the monthly magazine Combat Magazine, he became independent.
Since then, for more than 30 years, he has made it his life's work to cover and photograph flyable World War II aircraft.

Shigeru Nohara (aircraft structure, equipment analysis, illustrations)
Born in Tochigi prefecture in 1948. 
After graduating from high school, he moved to Tokyo, where he attended a designer's school and began working in earnest on drawings and illustrations of World War II aircraft. 
After working for a photo newspaper and a model magazine, he became a freelance illustrator and writer in 1978.
His work has appeared in a wide range of magazines and books on war history, aircraft, and models.
