The SU-100 (Samokhodnaya Ustanovka 100) was a Soviet tank destroyer armed with a 100mm anti-tank gun. Introduced into active service in 1944, the SU-100’s sizeable gun and low profile provided the Soviet army with the killer edge it needed against the Wehrmacht. A reliable and efficient machine, it continued to serve in several armed forces long after the end of the Second World War.
