This is "Red Ryder and the Secret of Wolf Canyon" by S.S. Stevens, based on the comic strip by Fred Harman, in a first edition published by Whitman in 1941. This edition features one of the popular Red Ryder adventures, with b/w illustrations. Condition of this book is Very Good, showing yellowing to the pulp paper and a small tear at the top edge of the first couple of pages. The unclipped dust jacket is in Good Plus condition, showing chipping and tears to the upper front edge. Please see my other vintage children's book listings.
