The size of this patch is 2.5" x 3".

  • During Vietnam war, this patch was designed by Ron Wolin who relates this story: On day-in, day-out river patrols, a PBR would cruise up to  a sampan, barge or junk and the crew would shout "Lai Day, Lai Day" (Come Here, Come Here) and give the traditional Vietnamese gesture for "come here" which is a palm down wiggling of the fingers.
