ONE  - 2019-P MINT STATE -  UNC - BU - NEW JERSEY - NEW AMERICAN INNOVATION $1 COIN PROGRAM -  honoring - "EDISON LIGHT BULB".  

NEW JERSEY , the third of four coins released this year, honors the development of the light bulb with filament against an ornate background.    

The obverse design features the Statue of Liberty in profile with the inscriptions "IN GOD WE TRUST" and "$1".  The design also includes a "privy" mark of a stylized gear, representing industry and innovation. 

The reverse design features inscriptions; "UNITED STATES OF AMERICA",  and "NEW JERSEY".

The year of minting, 2019, mint mark-P, and inscription "E PLURIBUS UNUM" are incused on the edge of the coin.   

The dollar coins are made from a blend of zinc, manganese, nickel and copper.  8.100 grams, 1.043 inches in diameter, edge is lettered.
