Here's a new complete set of Valve Springs (x8) for the following models from Austin -


AUSTIN

Austin A30          (803cc)                    (1952- 56)

Austin A35           (948cc)                   (1956- 59)

Austin A35 Van   (948cc)                    (1956- Oct 62)

Austin A35 Van   (1098cc)                  (Oct 62- 68)


There are x8 springs here which is enough for one engine (x4 Inlet and x4 exhaust). 


You replace these springs when the Cylinder Head is removed and a tool to compress the old springs, remove the collets and then to refit the new springs.

Replacing these springs is really very worthwhile, the springs will have weakened with age and some can even break. The results are problems running at medium / high revs and possibly burnt out / leaking valves.
