Paddle Board valve wrench / Spanner - 3D printed and remelted in Salt for ultimate strength.

My friends board did not come with a wrench to tighten the valve on his paddle board when it began leaking, so I created this.

It is thicker and beefier than the flimsy shatter prone ABS injection moulded ones that come with most boards, and as such, is much more durable. It has a small hole at the bottom of the handle to attach a loop so you can keep it with your board!

These are printed out of gorgeous semi-transparent PETG plastic that is very strong and will generally flex rather than shatter like the typical ABS ones that come with your average board. After printing they are masked up by hand and then remelted in powered salt to Fuse these parts into one piece of solid plastic removing the inherent weakness along the layer lines of a 3D print.

The result of this remelting process is an extremely strong end product and a very unique looking one too as the layers have all melted into one, allowing the handle to be perfectly clear.

This is quite a labour intensive process but these are truly handmade works of art as well as being even better than the standard wrenches!

It fits valves that have the 8 slots (most boards!)

Design is subject to changes. Due to the nature of both 3D printing and the Salt remelting process the final products both look and exact dimensions may differ from what is pictured. I hand finish these and ensure that every one is functional and looks great!
