Wonderful, versatile green opaque with just a very slight yellow undertone. Great color for grass and foliage in beadwork, and for Native American designs. This is is 1.1 millimeters diameter and 36 beads per inch when strung. A nicely uniform bead that is consistent.
These greens with the yellow undertones in the 18-22/0 sizing are running out. When these are gone there are no more, they stopped being made almost 100 years ago and were made by hand in Murano, Italy by glassblowers. The bags weigh between 3.8-4.1 grams, see photos for size and quantity shown loose, from one bag emptied.
I have a huge collection of rare antique micro seed beads. These beads were old store stock from Murano, Italy, and the Czech Republic, whose artisans handmade these beads in the 1800's up to the early 1900's. This is some of the last existing handmade antique bead stock. Additionally, many of the color pigments and finishes, like "greasy", are no longer made.
