Oil on canvas. Signed Andréen and titled Paris. There is an old label with the artists biographical details on the back, dated 1948. Fine cityscape from Place du Tertre in Paris with the Sacre Coeur church visible in the distance. Framed in its authentic salon frame. A fine oil by Swedish painter, Bengt Olof Andréen ( 1919-2016). A certificate of authenticity will be included with this work.
Condition:
Ready to hang. In good condition with no holes, tears or missing paint. The oil could use a light cleaning, due to the age. Otherwise fine. The frame has minor scratches due to the age.

Swedish painter born in Borås in 1919. He pursued art studies during trips to several countries in Europe, North and South America. His art consists of still lifes , genre paintings and landscape motifs often from the Swedish west coast.
