The 3-ply casing runs 180 TPI total, which provides the supple ride feel that makes tubulars handle differently than clinchers while maintaining enough structural integrity for pressures up to 170 psi. Continental uses their BlackChili compound across the slick tread profile, which combines synthetic and natural rubbers with nanometric carbon soot particles. That compound formulation delivers grip through tight criterium corners where you're leaning hard on the sidewalls, and the slick profile maintains uninterrupted contact with pavement rather than breaking up the contact patch with tread voids.
The 700x25mm width provides the narrow profile that criterium racers prefer for quick directional changes and sprint accelerations out of corners. The tire runs at recommended pressures around 110 psi with a maximum of 170 psi, which gives you the range to dial in contact patch size based on rim width and road surface texture. The 42mm Presta valve includes a removable core for sealant injection if you want extra flat insurance, though the SafetySystem breaker already provides substantial protection for race conditions

Lifetime Product Warranty:
Always have OMNI Racer products installed by a qualified mechanic, or carefully follow directions provided with the product. Always use a torque wrench and torque bolts as specified.Limits of the Warranty: At its sole discretion, OMNI Racer agrees to repair or replace products deemed by OMNI Racer to be defective in materials and/or workmanship. OMNI Racer reserves the right to replace product with like replacements that may have graphics or finishing different from the original part.
Explanation of Warranty: It is the product users responsibility to examine the product on a regular basis to determine the need for service or replacement. Not covered under this warranty are the following:
- OMNI Racer products that have been modified, neglected, or poorly maintained.
- OMNI Racer products that have been used in stunt riding, or for commercial use.
- Damage to products improperly installed or repaired.
- Damage from causes other than defects in materials and workmanship such as a users lack of skill, competence, or experience.
- Any labor costs associated with the removal, replacement, or reassembly of the product.
- Normal wear and tear during use of the product
