But it comes with the wind up key for movement and chime. Works, keeps good time, chimes every hour and also a hit every 1/2 hour. The 1/2 hour chime is different, it’s more of a ding rather than a chime sound.No cracks in glass. Dark color finish/stain, maybe ebony? 17.5” X 11” X 7” Weight: 11lbs
