Stunning Set of 13 Heufel & Co. Dresden Flowers Porcelain Dinner Plates. Hand Painted, Multi-Colored Floral, elaborate Gold Trim and Verge, Brushed and Geometric Rim with Floral Band. Discontinued pattern; circa 1891 to 1900. In MINT condition, never used. Plates measure approximately 9 3/4" x 1". Made in Germany. Heufel & Co. was a porcelain decorating business was established by Georg Heufel in 1891 at Moritzstraße 2, Dresden. He managed it till 1901 when emigrated to the United States. According to some sources the company operated in Dresden till 1940. Georg Heufel, soon after reaching the USA, started working for Ceramic Art Company (later Lenox Inc.).
