How does Wallgarden Multi-Hang compare with other vertical garden systems?
One of the major issues with the multitude of vertical garden systems available is the inability for the plants to remain nourished and watered.
The Multi-Hang system modules are designed to optimally balance soil volume (and therefore overall support weight), water usage, durability and aesthetics. As with many vertical garden systems available, the lack of enough soil for the plant roots to grow results in stunted growth and frail plants.
When comparing vertical garden systems, check the volume per pot. Other similar systems, although on the surface may seem appealing, have less than HALF the volume per module. The result? Plants die quickly! Also - the overall cost for square metre coverage is up to 3x that of Wallgarden!
Each of the Wallgarden Multi-Hang modules can support 6KG including plants and soil for increased root growth and better water retention.
Simple and Easy DIY installation
- Wallgarden Multi-Hang modules clip onto most vertical garden backing systems or commonly available materials such as steel mesh or wood lattice, commonly available at most hardware stores.
- Alternately you can build your own rail using wood & standard extrusion or screw Wallgarden Multi-Hang modules directly to a wall or fence.
Water Efficient Design - You only need to water the top row!
- Water by hand or fit a low pressure 13mm poly irrigation system to the top row of modules. Water passes through from top to bottom
- Each module is watered and retains moisture after watering, ensuring even irrigation from top to bottom
How much area will this cover on my wall?
- 10 modules covers approximately 0.6 square metres.
- 16 modules covers one square metre.
Manufactured from recycled polypropylene with UV inhibitors.
