This is a sheet of stationery bearing the 
signature of John M. Dalton.

John Montgomery Dalton (1900-1972) was 
the 45th Governor of Missouri, serving from
1961 to 1965.

Dalton had previously served as the 34th 
Attorney General of Missouri, from 1953 
to 1961. Before that, he served for ten years 
as the city attorney for Kennett, which is
the county seat of Dunklin County, Missouri.

  
The autograph is on a sheet of Dalton's 
stationery as the Governor of Missouri, with 
his name printed near the top left corner.


There are four very small remnants of stickers
near the corners on the reverse side of the page
(see scan 4).
