The Mission was established in 1830 at Turner, Kansas to provide a dormitory and school for Indian girls. They were taught spinning, weaving, and other domestic arts. The  mission was moved to Fairway in 1845. The card is in good condition, some dings, aging on the back, with wear on the corners and sides.
