Organic Coconut Chips

Ingredients: Organic Coconut

Origin: Sri Lanka

Organic Coconut Chips transport you to the tropics.

We love all things coconut for their nutrition and delicious flavour.  If you are lucky enough to have travelled in Asia you will be very familiar with how versatile and tasty the coconut is.  Luckily we don’t have to travel far to find ‘coconutty’ things these days and organic coconut chips are a great high protein/good fat snack to have on the go.

These chips are made from the white flesh of the coconut, the coconut meat is shredded and dehydrated at low temperatures.

High sugar snacks like dried fruit can leave you feeling tired so coconut offers a great balance.  You can make a great trail mix with coconut chips, nuts, seeds and mixed vine fruit.  If you like baking then coconut chips can add a tropical feel to most recipes. Add some coconut chips to these vegan and gluten free granola bars to make them even more delicious.
