Scarce US first edition of Hanama Tasaki’s work “Long the Imperial Way”, published by Houghton Mifflin in 1950. This is an ex-library copy with abundant markings.

There is some stamping to the top of the page block, a lot of stamping and marking to the first free end page. Both flaps of the former dust jacket are still pasted to the inside of the book. The rest of the jacket is missing. Both hinges are cracked with webbing showing through. I do not see any marks on the pages themselves. Sold as is, as shown and described here.
