Her early botany studies opened her eyes to the form, dimension, and subtle colors of each plant. As she discovered unexpected beauty in the flowers she studied, painting her subjects became an important part of her life. As a self-taught artist, Daphne continues to refine her skills by attending workshops in France and the US as well as closer to her home in Canada.
