For sale is a NOS Hastings re manufactured clutch disc. The disc number is CD2001. It is a 8" diameter with 1"-14 spline clutch disc. as shown the above picture. . Hastings was a premium re-builder located in King, North Carolina. It was a family owned company that was opened in 1948 and forced to close in the late nineties. The Hastings Company  employed many town folks in King. They made the mistake of putting inventory in a multi-state auto parts chain based out of Chicago and never got paid. That was the end of a good company. I had a large inventory of Hastings re-mans when they closed. I have a few clutches discs and pressure plates left and I am putting them up for sale.I am selling these clutches at or below my cost, paying the shipping and waiving the core charge I had to pay. The majority of these units are still sealed in the factory boxes, as this one was. My listing shows this unit fits, 1986-1987 Chevrolet Chevette and Pontiac T1000. with the 1.6L engine. , If you are looking for  American Made parts, made by old school craftsmen, as I do,  these will fit the bill. The market has been taken over by new Chinese units. My argument is sure the Chinese unit is new but it  still has to be put together by someone. Do you want yours put together by a experienced American craftsman or put together by an under paid China-man that has never seen a Dodge truck? This unit is a stock replacement unit, not a race piece. I will list some race units in late June.   Thanks for looking. The critical parts like the springs and eye bolts are new in the Hastings Units. I may keep the original box to help get the item in a more economical shipping box unless otherwise notified.
