Vehicles with Ford AODE, 4R70W, 4R70E, 4R75W or 4R75E transmissions can have complaints of no Reverse and/or no 4th Gear. These can be the result of low pressure in the respective apply circuits failing to apply the bands, and/or burning the bands over time. Installing Sonnax O-ringed 3-4 shift valve end plug kit 76948-49K can eliminate this leakage by providing a positive seal at the casting bore.
