This is "Frontier Ballads" by Charles J. Finger, in a stated first edition (same date on the title page and the publisher's page) published by Doubleday, Page & Company in 1927. This edition features a collection of folk ballads sung around the world, with commentary and wonderful color and b/w woodcuts by Paul Honore. Condition of this book is Very Good, showing some moderate wear to the boards at the extremities. There is an inscription and a lovely period bookplate on the LFEP. No dust jacket.
