For sale is a NOS Hastings remanufactured pressure plate. The pressure plate number is CA1900. It is a 8 1/2"  diameter diaphram style pressure plate as shown the above picture. This pressure plate fits 1983-1984 S10's. S15'S, pick ups and Blazers with the 2.8Liter v6. It also fits 1984 Jeeps with the same 2.8L engine. Hastings was a premium rebuilder located in King, North Carolina. It was a family owned company that was opened in 1948 and forced to close in the late nineties. The Hastings Company  employed many town folks in King. They made the mistake of putting inventory in a multi-state auto parts chain based out of the North East and never got paid. That was the end of a good company. I had a large inventory of Hastings remans when they closed. I have a few clutch discs and pressure plates left and I am putting them up for sale. The majority of these units are still sealed in the factory boxes. If you are looking for  American Made parts, made by old school craftsmen, as I do,  these will fit the bill. The market has been taken over by new Chinese units. My argument is sure the Chinese unit is new but it still has to be put together by someone. Do you want yours put together by a experienced American craftsman or put together by an under paid China-man that has never seen a Jeep? This unit is a stock replacement unit, not a race piece.
