Up for auction is this RARE and BEAUTIFUL Atq. Early 20th Century, Cobalt Blue and White Japanese Flying Phoenix or Flying Turkey Pattern Ginger Jar with Lid insert, Lid, on a Rosewood Base.  It measures approx. 6" T without base & 6 1/2" T on base x 3 1/2" wide.  It is in Excellent condition, and the insert under the lid is usually missing or broken.

I had this item appraised and the appraiser said it was from Japan From the early 20th Century (1900's) Flying Phoenix or Flying Turkey pattern and was RARE to have the insert and on a Rosewood base, and she appraised this item at $95.00 to $125.00 due to

condition and age, and I am starting it lower due to downsizing before my move.
