Wooden Deck

The engraved plank layout reflects the characteristic construction of Mississippi river steamers. These vessels had extensive, relatively simple flat wooden decks, and the arrangement of the engraved boards corresponds to this type of construction.

The veneer parts are designed to cover all visible areas where the wooden deck would be exposed on the real vessel. The genuine oak surface gives the completed model a more natural and realistic appearance than the original molded plastic deck.

The 0.3 mm veneer deck is designed to fit precisely over the plastic deck supplied with the Lindberg kit. All necessary openings are laser-cut to correspond with the openings and fittings in the original plastic parts.

Full-Color Stickers

The set also includes two full-color stickers intended for the sides of the paddle-wheel housings. Their design is based on historical images of the famous Robert E. Lee.

This offer contains one complete laser-cut oak veneer deck and two full-color paddle-wheel housing stickers. Any plastic parts, paints and other accessories shown in photographs are not included.
