DESCRIPTION: Up for auction is a beautiful Barbizon School Landscape Original Framed Oil on Board Painting in outstanding period gold gilt frame, ready to hang.  Depicts a woman looking onto the sunset next to a mill.  Excellent subject matter of a masterful twilight sunset scene with beautiful shadows and play of lighting by the artist.  I took photos under two different lighting conditions (tungsten and daylight) so you can see how it looks under both.  It comes in an wonderfully detailed period gilt frame that is in excellent condition with no noticeable damage, minor chip on bottom back corner which is not noticeable from front.  It is not signed.
Condition:  Painting shows Craquelure throughout. Please see photos and closeups to make your bid accordingly.  Overall, an excellent small painting for the age and could be hung and displayed as is as I would say its its in very good condition to very good plus.

Size is overall with frame at approximately 11 3/4" x 8", painting inside frame is 10" x 6 1/4".  Would make for a great room accent piece.
