Common Rail Injector Tester, Model: CRI - 4100 - Newly upgraded unit with remote control facility

New Features added to the upgraded unit (As compared to the previous unit):- 

1. Now test up to 2 CR injectors at a time / simultaneously on the CRI 4100. 
2. Remote control facility (Range up to 10 meters) - Now operate all common rail control parameters using remote control.  
3. All types of Piezo CR injectors can be tested including both Bosch and Siemens piezoelectric common rail injectors. 
4. Communication with PC - The CRI 4100 can now be connected to a computer using RS 232 com port provided on the unit. (See back panel image above)
5. The CRI 4100 now comes fitted with a powerful 32 bit micro-controller as compared to an 8 bit in the earlier model. Hence it is faster and more efficient.   
6. Now comes fitted with a blue LCD display - which is better quality and much brighter as compared to the earlier black and white display. 
7. Newly added Time parameter - T (in seconds) - determines the time for which the injector test runs. User can set this parameter as desired. If the time is entered 000 seconds then the CRI 4100 will run in manual mode, i.e. injector will have to be turned on / off manually. 

Application:- Used to test all kinds of common rail injectors - Bosch (Including GM Duramax & Dodge Cummins) , Delphi, Denso and Siemens (Piezoelectric technology). It can be used to test an injector for its output delivery, spray pattern, chattering, back leakage; Output Delivery to Return / back leak ratio.  

Description:- 

-         -- It provides driving signals to the injector solenoid and can be used to test a CR injector for its delivery, back leak, spray pattern, chattering etc. One can measure the return to output delivery ratio on a test bench / hand operated kit using the CRI 4100.

-         -- One can vary the pulse width, W (in mS – milli seconds), which determines the time for which the injector nozzle opens to spray, hence determining the volume of delivery per spray. More the set pulse width, higher will be the output delivery.

-         -- Also one can vary the engine RPM, N - which in turn determines the frequency of spray from the injector (Number of times an injector sprays per second). Higher the set engine RPM (N) higher will be the frequency of spray (F). ( Frequency F = N / 60, therefore for example, if set engine rpm N = 900, then it corresponds to a frequency of 15 sprays per second and so on) 

-         -- Therefore, the CRI 4100 is nothing but an ECU / ECM simulator - it simulates the working of an ECU / ECM in vehicles to provide precise driving signals to the Common Rail Injectors and therefore helps diagnose faults with them

- Comes with all electrical connectors / couplers - for all kinds of common rail injectors (Bosch, Delphi, Denso and Siemens).

- Comes complete with Injector Test Data soft copy, Operation Manual and a CD with an excellent presentation on common rail technology to help the user to understand common rail injector repairing better. 

By combining of the CRI 4100 simulator and a high pressure fuel source, which may be a mechanical manual pump, or an electrical motor driven pump, or a pneumatic driven pressure booster, to feed the CR injector, the user is able to fulfill the tasks of checking nozzle spray pattern and injector back leakage for a Common Rail injector with either solenoid or piezoelectric technology.
