Pack includes two cigars; 1 lit and 1 unlit.
When Columbus stumbled upon the Americas in 1492, he also discovered tobacco. The natives in the New World smoked cylindrical bundles of twisted tobacco leaves wrapped in dried palm or corn husks.
By the 20th century, smoking was widespread and an integral part of popular culture. Mark Twain declared, "If I cannot smoke in heaven, then I shall not go". The word "cigar" probably originates from the Mayan word for smoking, "sikar". Cigars consist of three components, all made from tobacco: the wrapper, the filler, and the binder.
The miniature model cigars presented here are crafted from bamboo and hand painted. They have been scaled for a 12 inch action figure but would also be suitable for 1:6 scale dioramas and doll houses.
