Obiter dicta on Japanese odes

Extremely rare book on Haiku and other Japanese poetry. Written by S. Nobunaga, it contains illustrations by C. Odaka, S. Iwane & S. Okawa.  It was published in English in 1931 by Ginseisha, Tokio. The NII bibliography ID (NCID) is BA54110367.

According to a Google search, copies of this book seem to exist in only 6 libraries throughout the country and only one is listed for sale anywhere, on Amazon at a price of $200 (no information or pictures provided on this listing). This copy is in very good shape, with only a few defects. The most notable is that about 3 pages at the front of the book and 2 in the back are starting to rip from the staples, although it does not really impact the readability of the book. Also, there is an illegible signature on one page. Please review the pictures carefully before purchasing.

This 39 page book is as cool as it is rare, with illustrations inserted throughout the book. It's a must own for any collector of rare books, especially in the poetry genre. Book will be delivered in a mylar bag with an acid free backer to help preserve it going forward.
