This listing is for a true first edition, first printing of J. J. (John Joy) Bell's book "The Glory of Scotland", published in 1932 by George G. Harrap & Co., out of London. This copy features a June 1932 date on the top copyright page text without subsequent notes of reprinting on the bottom. The book has been signed by Bell on the title page in black ink.

This book is in very good vintage condition with some staining/discoloration to the boards. There is also some warping and bending to the thin front and back boards. The interior of the book is in great condition, free of all markings & foxing. The book has nice vintage book smell, free of must. The book is signed on the title page in lovely black ink. Each of the large fold-out maps at the back, between pages 386 & 387 are still present and in fabulous condition, free of tears or other damage! The boards are safe, strong, and secure, free of cracking at the spine. There was a "History of Gunn" info card in the book when I acquired it, so I am keeping it with the book.
