The History of Bobby Labonte
Robert Allen "Bobby" Labonte (born May 8, 1964) is an American professional stock car racing driver. He was the 2000 NASCAR Winston Cup Series champion. He currently competes part-time in the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series, driving the No. 32 Ford Fusion for Go FAS Racing. He and his older brother, Terry Labonte, are the only brothers to have both won Sprint Cup championships. He is also the uncle of former Nationwide Series race winner Justin Labonte. Labonte is the first driver to have won both the Winston Cup championship (2000) and the Busch Series championship (1991). He also won the IROC title in 2001.
