This 4 Way Deutsch breakout lead is direct replacement for Pico TA-193 and designed to connect to 4 pin Deutsch connectors found on many truck engine injectors and other sensors. The leads allow automotive technicians to connect to a connector within the vehicle loom and conduct diagnostic voltage and current measurements of various sensors, actuators and components. The output signals from the breakout lead banana plugs can be connected via a BNC to 4mm banana plug patch lead to handheld or PC based automotive oscilloscopes from; PicoScope, Hantek, Uni-T, TiePie, CarScope, Autel MaxiScope, Sealey, Bosch, Snap-On, Fluke.
The individual wire connections are colour coded for identification and designed to allow easy access with a current (Amp) clamp so that wires can be tested in-circuit allowing both current and voltage measurements to be taken simultaneously.
All of our automotive breakout leads shown in our shop follow an identical wire and banana plug colour code convention which are matched to pin numbers within the automotive connectors. This allows a technician to always know what pin number they are testing regardless of breakout lead and connector in use. Our WACB automotive breakout leads use the following colour code convention:
