Up for sale is a TOPOGRAPHY MAP - STATE OF VIRGINIA - RICHMOND.  Department of the Interior - U.S Geological Survey.  Edition of Sept. 1895, Reprinted 1931.

Henry Gannett, Chief Topographer.  Gilbert Thompson, Chief Geographer in charge.  Triangulation by U.S.C. and G.S. and Corps of Engineers USA.  Topography by E.C. Barnard and M. Hackett.  Surveyed in 1889-92.

The map measures approximately 16 1/2 x 20 inches, including the border area.  On the reverse side is a "DESCRIPTION OF THE TOPOGRAPHIC MAP OF THE UNITED STATES".

Generally, the map is in Good Condition.  There is some light age related browning and toning, as well as some spotting and other stains.  There are lots of nicks/chips/tears along the edges.  Creases in the corners.  Hole punches in the left border.

There are some darker stains around some of the outer edges.  Other dings here and there.
