These are fantastic for any aquarium or vivarium to add a more natural feel, when submerged the slate will turn a dark, even tone.  They can be used with other rocks or slate to make ledges and crevices ideal to provide shelter for small fish and fry.  The last photo shows them used in conjunction with my larger pieces (available in my other listings) to make an attractive cave design.
