The EQ901B Plus V/VI is the next generation of the popular EQ901 B, a high performance replacement for existing BOSE 901® Series equalizers.

The EQ901B Plus features dual output equalization curves, Normal and Reduced Bass, either of which will accommodate your 901 Series V/VI, depending on room size and personal preference.  Based on modern hardware, the unit increases dynamic range while reducing noise and distortion to achieve state-of-the-art performance.

As a drop-in replacement for existing OEM equalizers, the EQ901B Plus can be used in a tape monitor loop, between a preamp and a power amp, or with an A/V receiver and a separate power amp.

Setting Equalization Curves

Selection of the equalization curve is generally based on your listening room size and personal preference.  The EQ901B Plus includes two curves:

• Normal mode

• Reduced Bass mode

Analog Input Level

The analog audio input levels are switchable between 2.0 Vrms and 4.0 Vrms to accommodate use with most equipment. The EQ901B Plus is shipped with the analog input level set to 2.0 Vrms. User-accessible jumpers are used to set the analog input sensitivity.
