EN1A (230M07) is a low carbon steel that is free cutting and therefore suitable for turning / milling where parts will not be subjected to high stress.

EN1A (230M07 Pb) Leaded. This steel has lead added to aid machinability and is sometimes referred to as super free cutting.

EN3B (070M20) is a general purpose low carbon steel that machines well and is suitable for welding.

EN8 (080M40) is a medium carbon steel that can be flame or induction hardened.

Bars are cut to 300mm (if you order 2 you will be sent 2 bars)
