For sale is a used Kawsaki camshaft that will fit 1973 through 1980 KZ900 and KZ1000 motorcycles. There is no tachometer gear on this cam, so this cam started life as an intake cam. The lobe height is 1.430 inches. The casting number on this camshaft is 2LR. I sent this camshaft to an automotive machine shop and had the lobes and cam journals  polished. It was stored in the dry but there was some crud and rust build up on some of the lobes, the polishing got rid of 99% of it. The rest of it could be removed with some fine emery cloth.  My lousy camera skills have the exposure wrong which makes this cam look like it is covered in rust which is not the case, however there is some light rust on the body of the cam. I do not know the specs on this camshaft, but I an still researching it. Any identification help would be appreciated. Thanks for looking.
