This lot consists of three items, one of which is an envelope
signed by Ambassador Keith Johnson, of Jamaica.

 

Keith Johnson (1921-2009) was a Jamaican diplomat who served

as an ambassador to the United Nations, the United States, Israel,

Germany, the Vatican, Argentina, and several other countries, in a

diplomatic career that lasted for half a century.

Ambassador Johnson's signature is on an official envelope of
the Permanent Mission of Jamaica to the United Nations. 

The envelope is in good condition, with creases where it has been folded.

Also included in this lot is a signed letter from Joyce Boothe,
who was the secretary of Ambassador Johnson. The letter,
which verifies the Ambassador's signature on the envelope,
is dated 1969, and is typed on the Ambassador's stationery.

Also included is the original envelope in which these items were mailed.
