This is an envelope signed by Abdul Sattar Moosa Didi.

Abdul Sattar Moosa Didi (1936?-2015) was a diplomat

from the Republic of Maldives, an island nation located

in the Indian Ocean, about 400 miles southwest of the

southern tip of India. He was a diplomat for more than

fifty years, and served as that country's first ambassador

to the United Nations. He also served as the Minister

of Finance, the Minister of Education, the Minister of

Fisheries, and Minister of Health and Welfare. In addition,

he served as the Vice President of the Maldives, the

Representative of the Maldives in Colombo, and as the

Maldivian Ambassador to the USA.

Perhaps the most notable service of

contribution to securing full independence for Maldives

from the British in 1965, alongside President Ibrahim Nasir.
