This is a signed letter by William John McKeown (1927-2013),
who served as Mayor of Medina, a borough on the Isle of Wight.

Isle of Wight is the largest island of England. It is located
just off the southern coast of England, in the English Channel.

McKeown was an engineer in the ship-building and aircraft industries.
He was first elected as a councilman in 1966. He also served
as a magistrate (judge) for twenty-five years.
