Johann Maresch two handled terracotta vase in VGC

This vase is in stunning condition for its age.

Probably late 19th century it is marked JM 1292 and is from the Bohemian pottery of Johann Maresch, although it may date to his son Ferdinands reign in the late 19th century.

Made of terracotta and in Art Nouveau styling in the form of handpainted decoration onto an impressed body.

These pieces are collectable and the condition of this one is good, with no damage to the body. There are paint flecks missing on the rim and in the body as shown, but this are not chips as such just paint flecks.

This is a stunning piece

26cm tall

15cm width at widest point
