This is a Reproduction of the rare and SCARCE Vintage Barbie Loves the Improvers outfit, which was a promotional, mail-order doll from Inland Steel in 1967.
Neck ring opens/closes with velcro in back for easy dressing!

Outfit is lovingly and carefully handmade by me. If you don't want to spend THOUSANDS on an original, this is the next best thing!
Each is hand-made and there may be slight differences and/or a tiny crease or scratch. I am very particular and try my best to make these completely scratch and crease free, but they can occur no matter how careful I am.
It is NOT metal, it is made from silver cardstock, just like the original.
The outfit is awesome and so fun to photograph! There is a label on the inside designating it as a reproduction. Includes the outfit, arm band, a little reproduction magazine with blank pages inside, and dressing instructions.

These are somewhat fragile, in that if you squeeze the barrel inward or bend it, it will be permanently creased.
I want to mention it so you are careful when handling it. It is made from foiled cardstock, the same as the original was.
I try each one on a doll to ensure a great fit, and there are no bends or deep scratches in the material when shipped.
