Vintage German Hair Curler, Circa Early 1900's: This listing is for an early 1900's German Hair Curler. There is looseness at the joint which we think had some application to forming the hair curl. Also, there are spaced holes on 1 of the curler parts and a slot approximately 2-3/4" long on the other curler. The only light rust we see is near the joint. The overall length is approximately 11-1/2".

Antique German hair curling iron dating to the early 1900s.

This is a non-electric, heat-style curling tool traditionally warmed over a flame or stove, commonly used before electric hair appliances became widespread.

Constructed of metal with long tapered arms and pivot joint. A great example of early personal grooming history from Europe.
